What we believe
Be people of faith, who conforms to Christ, reproduce themselves in others, and become channels of transformation for the community, the culture, and the world, to the Glory of God.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three person Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
DOCTRINAL BELIEFS
CORE BELIEFS
We believe that the first constraining/compelling concerns of the church, must be the seeking and saving of lost humanity for the Kingdom of God - Luke 19:10
We believe that Christ loved and reached out to the unsaved, therefore so should we: the church. - John 3:16
We believe in the urgency of preaching and sharing the Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation. - Roman 1:16
We believe that the authoritative teaching of God’s word is foundational to the transforming, and growing life in Christ. Therefore the indispensable ministry of Christian Education must under gird all other ministries in the church.
We believe the church is the viable ordained vehicle for influencing the values of our community by being light to the world and salt to the earth. - Matthew 5:16-17
We believe that the anointing of the Holy Spirit makes the difference in every aspect of Church life and a victorious Christian life. Therefore we seek to be blessed by God’s anointing and to live a Spirit-filled life in all we do. Ephesian 5:18
We believe in the God-ordained leadership of the Pastor-Teacher and recognize that the most valuable asset of the church is the anointed Spirit-filled godly Pastor and leadership. Ephesian 4:11-16
We believe that excellence and harmony honors God and motivates people. This includes bible-centered evaluation, organization, critical review, and maintaining an orderly environment.
We believe that God created humanity to Praise Him. Our chief end is to glorify and enjoy Him forever. And that worshipping through hymns, songs, spiritual songs, dance, and dramatizations are some of the channels to give Him total praise. Psalm 150
We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while scripturally pure. Therefore our message must always remain the same, but our methods must progressively change to reach a changing culture.
We believe that the discovery, and development of each member’s passion and spiritual gifts for ministry, is the key to effective ministry, maturity and missions. People with appropriate God-ordained leadership roles and responsibilities should lead church ministries.
We believe that the Bible is infallible, inerrant, inspired and the authoritative word of God. Therefore, the Bible must be held, herald, and heard as preeminently above all code, creeds, constitutions, bylaws, and personal opinions, etc. 1 Timothy 3:16-17
